Cheese Cake

In conjunction with Mother's Day recently and since Mak is coming over my place that afternoon, I have decided to bake Cheese Cake. Often I will make blueberry cheese cake, but this time I'm not gonna limit to one type of flavor…….yesss will try chocolate marble and strawberry. Ok, below is the ingredient:

Basic (Base)
250 gm Oreo / Digestive Biscuit Crust (can get from any baking shop)
1/3 cup of melted butter (unsalted)

Cheese Cake (Filling)
750 gm Philadelphia Cream Cheese
200 gm Castor Sugar
4 eggs
2 egg yolk
½ cup lemon juice (1 lemon)

First step, I will prepare the baking pan by wrapping it with aluminum foil like photo shown below. The reason because later it will be place into the bigger pan with full of hot water, so that the water from outside cannot be absorbed.

In a large bowl, mix together the crust and melted butter until it forms a coarse crumbly mixture. Pour it into prepared pan and press it evenly. Set aside while you make your filling.

Second step, mix/blend the entire cheese cake ingredient above until thoroughly combined. Normally I will use food processor instead of normal cake mixer. Food processor will produce fine and smooth mixture. Pour the mixture into the base prepared and bake for 45 to 1 hour until cooked.

Take out from oven and rest it in room temperature for a few minute before chilled for about 4 to 5 hours. Later decorate the cheese cake with blueberry, strawberry or raspberry filling.

For chocolate marble, I used the same ingredient above and divided into 2 portions in different bowl. Add melted chocolate at your own pleasure in one of the mixture.  Layer the two mixtures alternately until the pan full. You can use any type of chocolate bar.
